About the author

Dr. Jochen Schlick, born in 1974, is Senior Partner and Co-Founder of STAUFEN.DIGITAL NEONEX GmbH. After his diploma in mechanical engineering, he promoted in production engineering. He has dense expertise in the identification and implementation of Industry 4.0 as well as application in logistics, production and maintenance. He systematically develops digitally enhanced products and matching business models. As Project Manager, he took over the management of international development and transformation projects. He hab been Head of the future cyber-physical systems at WITTENSTEIN SE and Deputy Head of "Innovative Factory Systems" at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI GmbH).
