Approach, success factors and stumbling blocks
For project leaders and executives from production, logistics and associated sectors which are (also) involved in change processes
Manufacturing companies have implemented many innovative solutions under the title of "Lean Production", e.g. team work CIP, just-in-time, pull principles, etc., which often result in considerable improvements. However, their aim of maximum quality and productivity was often not achieved: implementation processes ended up in talk, solutions did not match, approaches were not pursued consequently by management and/or employees, organisational innovations “fell by the wayside”.
These are the weak points which this workshop tries to remove. Individual concepts are combined to form a coherent overall system. It is not concepts which are in the foreground but the systematic and consequent implementation of proven and effective methods. It is not only production processes which will be stabilised but the business processes of the entire value added chain. The focus lies on the human being in cooperation with material and technology.
Methods and tools for planning, managing and permanently improving business processes. Motivation to make changes, and practical support for implementation. Consequent and effective improvements using lean production of highest quality and productivity. Develop and implement your company-specific production and value added system!
„Good factory tour; the practical component provided excellent additional ideas for the implementation of a production system in our company; highly competent consultants!”
Alexander Schlee, technical manager coffee machines, WMF AG
„Illustration of the value added concept as holistic concept."
André Kohnenmergen, plant manager, Kabelwerk Eupen AG
„These were very good incentives for our own implementation. I became even more aware of stumbling blocks. I can directly transfer these findings into our everyday business.”
Karsten Bablich, Specialist Group Manufacturing Management, Paul Hartmann AG
