Homag AG has adjusted its product range to various sectors such as interior work or the furniture industry and is the world leader in seize and edge processing. For the future, Homag AG plans to expand its market position and its product range by the integration of further companies.

After having already extended its position on the Asian market with the foundation of a branch in Japan in 1999, Homag AG also gained a foothold in China end of 2005 where Homag Machinery Co. Ltd. with headquarters in Shanghai was built in a record time of six months. Presently they produce machines and equipment for various brands of Homag AG.

Themed “See. Learn. Act.”, our employees conducted for the first time a three-day workshop on "World Class Production in China" in cooperation with Homag Machinery Co. Ltd. in August 2007. The participants had the opportunity to attend practical discussions with experts about the problems on the “way to BestPractice” and to exchange experiences with other participants.
